Supports Power over Ethernet to Save You Money and Give You More Installation Choices This surge protector supports a variety of PoE standards, including IEEE 802.3af (15W), 802.3at (30W) and 802.3bt Type 4 (100W). It supplies power to compatible PoE devices, such as outdoor IP cameras, wireless access points (WAP) on ceilings or rooftops, and digital signage equipment. This saves you the expense and effort of purchasing, connecting and installing individual power supplies for each device. It also helps you install PoE devices in areas far away from AC outlets, such as poles or ceilings. The surge protector is DIN-rail mountable for installation in tight enclosures or structured cabling environments.
